Reading is Hard

Half way into this project, I am very excited and very dissapointed.

I'm excited for you, and I'm dissapointed in me.

You (the students) have already started on pace to shatter the total time for last years juniors. You've approached it with more vigor and maturity and seem to be enjoying it thus far.

I, though, and kind of in a reading funk. I could blame it on being in a very busy time of year (youth wrestling), but I have been reading.

The Culture of Fear: Why Americans Are Afraid of the Wrong ThingsPerhaps I have been reading material that is too heavy for a currently stressed out man. I might sit down with a light read soon. The only time I spent reading this week was with this book: The Culture of Fear: Why Americans Are Afraid of the Wrong Things.

Time Read this Week - 1 hr
Total Reading Time - A measly - 16hrs

On a side note, I've spent more money on books in the past 6 weeks than I have in a long time. This means I've got to spend a lot of time in bookstores. An english teacher in a bookstore. Oh, the joy I have. I'm glad some of you have borrowed what I purchased. Please continue to let me know what you think of the books I've purchased. That will help me make future decisions for loanable books that I may buy.

After the grade school tournament this weekend, I'm going to have a lot more time on my hands. So beware if you think you're safely ahead of me. Although, Teske, and Geisthardt might be safe.
