(Computer Applications) SCAMS (October 4, 2012)

With a partner (on one document), research how phishing scams, spam emails, and social media scams, hacking, and computer viruses work. 

Define/Describe each of these computer harm related terms in a word document, and find one news article related to each and describe it.  Use google news. 

Computer Virus

Phishing Scam

Spam Emails

Computer Hacking

Social Media Scams

Then with your partner, come up with two dastardly ways to lure people into one of these scams/viruses, and write a paragraph about each plan.*

Name the file: LASTNAME1 LASTNAME2 SCAM

Save it in the R:>Computer Applicatoins>Hand-in folder

*The point is, if you can think like a hacker, you're more likely to notice hacking scams.
