(Computer Applications) Research Tools / MLA Formatting in Word (April 16, 2014)

Today's agenda:

1. Mr. Strusz is going to review some built in research tools that are offered in Microsoft Word 2010. (10 min)

2. You need to research how to format a MLA Paper. MLA is the most common format used by high schools and colleges in America. It is followed only by the ALA format. (10 min)

3. Write me a nonsense paper (Random thoughts and words), that contains at least 5 in-text citations to different sources (can be made up). Include a Works Cited Page, but no cover page. Make sure you include all needed headers. I'll guide you along if you get stuck, but I want to teach you some independence for when you're in college in a year or two, and you forget how to format. (10-20min)

THE GOAL IS TO NAIL THE MLA FORMAT WITH EASE USING WORD'S TOOLS.

When finished, Save as LASTNAME MLA NONSENSE upload to folder 5.3
