(Graphic Design) Logo Design Prep (January 31--February 07, 2013)

ib_step_logo_41.jpgToday we are going to start a process that will end in each of you creating a logo for a hypothetical business.

1. Go to your folder on R:\Graphic Design\Logo (Research)\Your Name

2. Start by going into the Logo Design Process Article folder, and reading the article. Then create a document in that same folder explaining ten things you learned.

3. Then go into the 20 logos folder, and save a variety of 20 logos that you find on the internet. Pick some ones that you love, but not all have to be amazing.

4. By 2:20, You need to have written or typed and printed, a paragraph describing a hypothetical business you'd enjoy opening. Along with your paragraph, throw out some ideas of what you'd like to see in your companies logo (objects, colors, etc.)

5. At 2:25, I will hand out the paragraphs to random people. In the last 20 minutes, on a blank sheet of paper, sketch out 4 potential logo sketches. When finished, show me.
