(Graphic Design) White Space & Simplicity (Valentines Day, 2013)

1. Preview the end assignment by reading - (5 - I'm Drawing a Blank).

2. Research: Explore the concept of white space and simplicity in design by reading a few of the articles in the white space article. Spend about 15 minutes doing so. Make a new file in this folder explaining what you learned about white space and simplicity in design.

3. I'm going to start to show you how to use Photoshop during this project, as well as how to use Photoshop and Illustrator together (the key is if you start the project in illustrator, and want to move those elements -saved as an AI file - to Photoshop....File -> Place). I will demonstrate this as well.

4. Design the folder cover for the paint company, keeping in mind simplicity and white space. You don't have to make it 90% white space - perse as the challenge suggests - but there should be a fair amount of uncluttered space.
