James Baldwin Is Beyond Me

I'm reading Go Tell it on the Mountain by James Baldwin

It's semi-autobiographical book about a preacher's son and his struggle with race and his faith.

I'm also reading The Race Myth by Joseph Graves. It's a book explaining why race is a merely a social construct and has no biological basis. The most interesting chapter aims to dispel the black athlete link. I'll write more on both of these books once I finish them.
