This week I read an entire book! I haven't done this since pre-wrestling! I read The Girl Who Fell from the Sky by Heidi W. Durrow. It's a book about an interracial girl who's Danish mother, herself, and two of her siblings are found splattered on the ground after falling from the roof. As the girl recovers, you slowly figure out why they fell and how she readjusts to life in a new town.

The book has a unique structure in that each chapter begins from the perspective of a different character. These characters intertwine at very unexpected times throughout the story.
The Girl Who Fell from the Sky
The girl fell from a nine story building. Thinking back to Physics class, I thought for sure there would be no way to survive a fall like that. I looked up the formula I used to have to know (you forget SOME of the things you learn in school).

V = √(2*g*h)

She would have been falling at 155 ft per second. I think.

This book took me about 5 hours. I also read Time Magazine's 10 Ideas for the Next 10 Years while giving plasma.

Total Time: 24 hours
