Trends in Technology

3-10 minute Presentation

Mr. Strusz will have a Google doc linked on the right side of the page for you to complete the pre-class portion of the project.

You need to pick a topic for your day that hasn’t been talked about, or you’ve found a new development in a topic that has already been talked about.

Since this is computer applications, we’re going to focus on issues pertaining to computer uses in our lives. This can involve any devices that are electronic and contain computer chips (Smartphones, Tablets, Computers, Smart TVs, Car Technology, etc) that make people’s lives better.

The day/night before your presentation:

1.       Go into the Presentation Schedule link on Mr. Strusz’s website.

2.       Find your name

3.       Under your name complete the following information

a.       Topic Title

b.      1 sentence synopsis of the issue.

c.       Any terms (find at least 1) that we need to know in order to fully understand the issue.

d.      A paragraph about why this is important for our lives.

e.      A link to a source where the class can read more.  

f.        One discussion/thinking question for the class.

 

Your grade will focus on:

1. The prepareness of the presenter.

2. The quality of information.

3. It's application to the class.
