(Computer Applications) Merging Excel-ent Ideas to Google Docs (May 1, 2013)

Today we are going to learn some ways to use Google Forms and Excel in tandem.

Make a Google form

Field 1: Day

Field 2: Actual High Temp

Field 3: Average High Temp

Field 4: Actual Low Temp

Field 5: Average Low Temp

Fill out the form 30 times for the 30 days of April using the data found here: Fond du Lac April Weather Data

Download as an Excel spreadsheet, call it: LASTNAME Excel May Weather
Open the spreadsheet, and create formulas to calculate:
Average high temps, low temps through November
Difference between each day's high temp, and average high temp
A function that counts the number of days the temp went above 50
