(Graphic Design) Olaf Cuadras Ferre Style Movie/TV Poster (February 11 - 14)

1. Go into your drive, and create a folder in your LASTNAME (Design Folder)
- Call it, 02 - Olaf Poster
2. Open a new illustrator document, and name it Olaf Poster...for now. Make it 24in width, 36in height.

We're going to spend this week  making a vector movie poster in illlustrator (24in width, 36 height) in the style of Olaf Cuadras Ferre.

You can choose any Movie or TV show (but avoid anything with mature themes, please). Cartoons and movies Olaf has already done are off-limit as well (too easy). They need to be all-vector, and include several characters from the Movie/Show.

Don't just trace an actual movie poster. Look for still shots, or take a still shot from a youtube video.

Also focus on these elements as you construct your final composition.

When Finished
  • Upload an AI version and JPEG version.
  • Create a document in the folder describing your design. Focus on these 3 things.
    • 1. Tell me about the movie or show (link/embed a video clip if you think I haven't seen it)
    • 2. How does your design represent the feel of the movie?
    • 3. What elements of C.R.A.P. do you think you used well?
  • Due: Thursday, February 20
